When the Italian Gianluca Gualandi launched Talla Eyewear in 2016, he was anything but a novice in the eyewear industry. With 30 years of experience as an optician, this insatiable traveler and inquisitive observer knows exactly what he wants.

This humane transalpine designer learnt the importance of details and precision watching his mother in the haute couture world.

Now based in Paris, ‘Talla’, as he has always been known, works close to his customers and adorns their faces with know-how and delicacy, his inspiration coming from the environment around him, to develop his strong concepts, personal codes and imagination.
