Created by a German optician with a passion for art and antiquity, Lunor specializes in vintage models. The term “vintage” brings to mind glasses produced in the 20th century, generally between the 50s and 70s. However, Lunor goes much further—the brand revisits the designs of the 19th century, including re-exploration of forgotten but ingenious features like telescopic temples.
One can see this influence of the 19th century in the shapes of Lunor designs. (Take, for instance, the famous round glasses of Steve Jobs, founder of Apple!) The designs are made of horn, acetate shell, gold and platinum. They are famous for their balanced design as well as their harmonious proportions. In brief, they are timeless, chic and elegant.
