The trade fair not to be missed: Munich’s OPTI 2019

The International Trade Show for Optics & Design (opti) returns to Munich at the beginning of 2019, following the huge success of last year’s edition that gathered 28,400 visitors. We, at Amazing Eyewear, really appreciate this fair for its innovating creator brands and the chance to meet the professionals of the trade.

Between January 25th and 27th over 600 exhibitors from 40 different countries will be presenting their creations in the biggest fair yet: for the first time opti will expand across 6 halls to cover an even broader spectrum of the optics industry and welcome more visitors!

Here are some glasses from the French brand Vinyl Factory at opti munich 2019

We are looking forward to getting back to the opti Boxes. For those of you who missed it last year, these are stands dedicated to new independent designers where they share their take on tomorrow’s trends.

We will surely meet Nina Mûr again, the Spanish creator brand that caught our eyes last year with its original colorful wooden frames. In fact, the Madrileneans were the influencer’s favorite and won the Blogger Spectacle Award. You’ll be happy to know the influencers will also be in this year’s edition.

Other up-and-coming brands that will be exhibiting in opti Boxes include: the French GASTON Eyewear by Benjamin Mézière, with their unconventional, timeless and fun frames as well as Metalcraft that after 30 years of silence is back with amazing frames made solely of metal.

Not to mention all the designers you certainly already know, like Naoned, Anne et Valentin, SALT. and TAVAT that will also be there. This is your opportunity to take a sneak peek at their latest creations.

We just can’t wait for it, how about you?
