This fair is at the heart of the capital, and at the crossroads of Scandinavia: it will also, for one weekend, be at the center of the world of eyewear. Indeed, no fewer than twenty-seven countries are joining us on the trip this year! There will be no shortage of designers and opticians from all four corners of the world. What do they have in common? They are all independent, free to be as original as they wish, solely focused on glasses manufacture, without following the big brand names’ rules.

Copenhagen Specs is above all a place for eyewear professionals and the most visionary designers to meet: a place for dialogue, sharing knowledge, technological discoveries…
What makes this show different from the rest is its attention to authenticity. Morten Gammelmark, the man behind the event, has chosen an old train repair warehouse, restored and fitted out for the occasion. Here, you will not find any one stand put above the rest. On the contrary, Morten puts all the independent designers on an equal footing. Far from putting brands at a disadvantage, the simple wooden kiosks decorated with glasses display stands have been designed to put the spotlight on what is important: the frames, and nothing but the frames!
At Amazing Eyewear we know the place to be, and we will be going to Copenhagen Specs on the 3rd and 4th of March 2018, in the Lokomotivværkstedet!
