Dominique Varlet was frustrated for a very long time with the optical world. Like a thorn in his side, the frames that were part of his optician life did not reflect his love for bold design nor his aesthetic sensitivity. In 2003 he took things in hand and founded Variation Design with his wife and the strong intention to put all his creativity into play.
