Philippe V Glasses

While Philippe V evokes a Capetian king from the 14th Century, this brand is far from being medieval and just to make it crystal clear, the V here is a letter not the Roman numeral. Deeply rooted in his time, Philippe Vergez built and affirmed his strong identity through his travels across the world and cities that greatly influenced him… Los Angeles, Biarritz, Fukui and now, Hong Kong, where he lives. Philippe is a stylist driven by curiosity, a creative spirit fond of life, fashion and especially lifestyle. Not just your usual eyewear designer as the brand also includes jewellery and soon, fashion accessories.

Similar to a members-only club, the brand aims to unite like minded people who value individuality. Born out of a need for individualism in a world where people are surrounded by globalized conformity, Philippe V provides sunglasses and optical frames to all free spirits who refuse to be tamed.

Philippe Vergez is a demanding eyewear designer committed to the highest quality of craftsmanship and materials. Faithful to his ideals but cultivating the paradox, the rebel brand has its designs handmade in Japan, according to traditional production methods that are sturdy, focus on details and are long lasting, with noble materials such as Japanese titanium and acetates, German metal parts and French lenses. Between anarchism and pragmatism, the brand and its designer enjoy a growing success and is (already) attracting many influential names.
