Children’s eyeglasses collection Mykita FIRST

The Mykita First collection avoids the references to cartoons and the color codes too often present on children’s glasses. They prefer colored stainless steel lines and classic shapes like pantos, cat-eye or pilot, revisited for this particular audience. The 12 models with animal names (6 in optics, 6 in sunglasses) are mostly unisex, and are aimed at children eight years and older. The chosen colors are vibrant and thrilling: from lilac to bright red, from midnight blue to black.

The design team worked closely with children and teenagers to adhere as closely to their desires as possible. Mykita First’s designs are suited to children’s pace and activities. The rubber coating on most frames makes them resistant to scratches; however, although they are robust, they are not at all heavy and are very comfortable.
